José Luis Rivera y Piérola (real Coyote’s name) has 28 years of experience in advertising. He worked in networks such as Ogilvy, TBWA and Leo Burnett. Winner of the first ever Cannes Lion for Peru with P&G. He has had international experience as Creative Director at Leo Burnett in Miami, Puerto Rico and Chicago.
Working for US Hispanic market he helped Gain Detergent to become a 1billion brand.Jose Luis has won awards such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, London Festival, FIAP, El Sol, Ojo de Iberoamerica and New York Festival.
In 2008 he returned to Peru and founded Circus, the number 1 agency in the local market, where he was Creative Director. In 2013 he became founder and CCO at CARNE (second Grey agency in Peru). Carne grows 5 times its size in just 4 years.
In 2018 won the first Grand Effie LATAM for Peru. Recently his client APU has been chosen as one most powerful brands at the Global Effie next to brands like Apple and Nike.
Now Jose Luis is President & CCO at Circus Grey since February 2019.
